Background

  • My husband John and I purchased our first and current home here in 1989. John is a Licensed Builder in Southeast Michigan and is a Charter Boat Captain on Lake Erie’s Western Basin.

  • Reduced Accounting Budget by $50,000 per year by doing accounting in Clerk’s office
  • Established 3rd Precinct that  reduced long voting lines
  • Accounts Receivable Developer Collection Committee
  • Initiated Officers' Meetings to Promote Cooperation
  • Facilitated Board-written Personnel Policy Manual
  • Founder Augusta News newsletter.
  • Stony Creek Watershed Steering Committee
  • Introduced PDR Ordinance to keep our rural character
  • Board Liaison to Farmland Preservation Board
  • Founder of HOT Works, a series of Workshops by the Clerk’s office on How Our Township Works
