More Support for Clerk Giszczak

On Tuesday, February 22 there will be an election to recall or keep Clerk Kathy Giszczak.
I fully support Kathy because she has been the glue that has kept Augusta Township
together during these trying times. There is nothing wrong with Kathy Giszczak other
than she works too hard, is scrupulously honest, and cares about the well being and
wants of Augusta’s citizens. Augusta Township will quickly come apart without this glue.

I’ve seen her opponent’s fliers, presentations and websites. All of it is false or
grossly distorted, and it is really sickening. It is not political comment about a
disagreement; it is untrue. I also have known all of her opponents in this recall,
none of whom I would want as a friend, ever. Kathy has been stalked, harassed every
day, threatened and even physically assaulted. Her opponents even make fun of this in
their media. They oppose her because an honest Clerk gets in the way of their plans.

When I came to Augusta in 1978, my interest was living in a clean, country setting and
to keep it that way for as long as possible through conscientious and legitimate
application of government. As a Trustee, I proudly represent my constituents who feel
the same way. Many of you know me, and know that this is true. If you are one of these,
then you MUST vote NO in this recall election, as your future is at stake. Otherwise,
the smoke filled rooms, secret meetings and agreements benefitting only developers will return.

Please Vote NO on February 22. If you stay at home, you may wake up on February 23
to a new reality.

William Tobler, Trustee
Augusta Township
